Foxy Locks SUPERIOR Clip in hair extensions Review (5/5)
What are Clip-in-Extensions?
I have decided to update my blog with a new product that completely different yet still equally as spectacular as the other beauty products i have reviewed. With some consideration, i have decided to write about FOXY LOCKS clip in hair extensions, and introduce them to new customers. I am also going to include the basics about hair extensions in this little paragraph.
- Clip In Hair Extensions give you instant results in minutes. Clip In Hair Extensions are a new and easy way to have longer and thicker hair in a snap. No more glue in hair that will become messy, tangled and make your own hair thinner after time. No more expensive and damaging hair weaving procedures. Clip in hair extensions are an inexpensive and an efficient way to glamorize your appearance. It’s a simple do it yourself technique that anyone can do in only a few minutes.
- Foxy Locks™ Clip In Extensions provide women with the glamour of celebrity hair styles at low prices, clip in hair extensions also have the added benefit of convenience. You simply clip them in your hair and voilĂ instant thickness and length. Clip in hair adds instant volume and length without damaging your own hair. As it is 100% human hair you can wash & condition it as you would wash your own hair. Dry as you would your own hair. Style it using hot styling tools, tongs or crimps, even GHD straighteners (which are the hottest on the market!) You can also dye it to match your own hair identically. Our hair is one of the best quality you can get, ensuring that they blend in with the same natural appearance of your own existing hair. Whatever look you want, our real hair extensions can help you to achieve it. They simply & quickly enhance your own hair by looking as natural as if it truly were your own.
More Hair! – We offer 120 grams, 160 grams & 215 grams of hair where most other sellers only offer 70-80 grams of hair. Which means our hair gives you a lot more volume and value for money.
More Affordable! – Our prices are on average £20 – £40 cheaper for the quality of hair you are receiving.
More Quality! – We only provide the highest quality, protein rich, 100% human Remy hair.
Foxy Locks™ hair is super soft, tangle free and of the finest quality at an affordable price.
These extensions have been specially processed so that they can be professionally coloured and cut to match your needs.
We only sell the finest quality hair. Hair extensions used by Foxy Locks® are 100% ethical.
You cannot get this quality hair for a lower price, so please don’t be fooled by buying cheap hair as most of these are silicone coated meaning they will only last a few weeks where this hair can last you up to a year (with lots of TLC).
Variations
Foxy locks can be purchased in three different weights, each dependent on the current hair type of the consumer. e.g. If the consumer has incredibly thick short course hair, the best option is to choose the thickest set of hair extensions. They are as follows:
Regular weight = 120g, Deluxe weight = 160g and Superior = 215g
Superior hair extensions are complimented by a Volumizer piece totalling to 50grams of hair, therefore leaving the 10 piece weft set to 165g.
Price:
Regular = £58.00
Deluxe = £76.00
Superior = £120.00
Rating: 3.5/5
I am slightly torn in the fact that i slightly think that these hair extensions are rather pricey, however despite this little criticism, the main objective of the product is for it to actually work, and price set aside, the product itself can work wonders therefore effectively we are actually paying for what we get for… and we are happy customers!
Review
I am a complete hair extension fanatic as i love anything that is associated with hair extensions, big hair, different tones etc. I have even started to plan my own hair extension business to not only show my passion for hair, but to provide everyone with the alleviation that i experience when all of my senses are linked with hair. I have been a continuous foxy locks consumer for a few years now and it’s going to be hard for other competitors to change my desired brand as they are simply ingenious.
Paying for the hair itself is very easy as you can pay with various methods, resulting to a very straightforward process. This is rather promising as customers don’t want to experience any hassle or complications as this may deter their minds about the product they are buying. The delivery of the product itself was also satisfactory as it arrived quick and on time which again is very assuring for the customer. Its caressed by pink packaging suiting the design which is a simplistic yet effective approach to the customer.
There have been accusations about hair extensions and the damage they do to your hair HOWEVER i only experienced this with hair extensions that didn’t have good quality clips as they will pull at your hair and eventually provoke shedding. The clips from foxy locks are fitted with a silicone tube around the clip in order to keep hair safe and secure with minimal shredding. More info about clip in hair extensions damage can be viewed via the link i am going to be posting. For new customers, hair extensions will take a while to get used to as it may feel heavy as it’s not natural, however hair feels safe and secure and looks genuinely fabulous, natural and thick.

Loreal Paris Color Riche 297 Red Passion Cheryl Cole LTD edition Review: (4/5)
Description
Colour Riche made for me is enriched with a combination of OMEGA-3 oils and vitamin E and helps to protect your lips from drying. It has a soft and creamy texture and it leaves lips feeling moisturised smooth with a stunning finish.
I bought this lipstick and i had found out that it had in-fact worked complimentary to the main objectives of the product; to protect your lips from drying. Throughout the winter months, its only natural that our lips tend to dry out and feel rough (quick beauty tip: if you have dry lips, brush them gently with a clean toothbrush, it removes dead skin, then apply vaseline). So i came to the conclusion, what better way to start the year with a brand new lipstick? I haven’t used many L’oreal products and therefore i thought that i should apply a few modifications to my make-up bag.
Price
£5.99 - Superdrug – January 2013

From the previous L’oreal products that i have bought, i seem to lavish the smell of the lipstick range as they tend to have a particular scent in which already appears to be promising. Other lipsticks seem to not have this characteristic to their advantage, therefore this already separates this specific lipstick from other leading competitors. Not only this, but the actual design of the lipstick appears to be sophisticated and enriched with class. It’s a rather delicate smell with a very rich musk that again works our senses. We can see the visible Cheryl Cole LIMITED EDITION sticker on the base of the lipstick case, and on the lip we can witness that this lipstick contributes £1 of the money to the Princes Trust with Cheryl Coles Foundation. This fact is also rather satisfying in itself knowing that not only are we going to appreciate the nature of the lipstick, but we also know that we have contributed to this certain Trust.
The lipstick itself is called “red passion” and already we are seduced by not only the colour, but we are also enlightened by the edification of the product. It’s a very rich red colour that also appears to have a little touch of glitter to match our glamourous lives, to perhaps give us that extra slice of sparkle, day or night. In my time of wearing the colour riche lipstick, i have found that my lips have continuously gained moisture from this product so that when we remove our make-up we are left with delicate, indulgent and lenient lips that we feel great about.
The colour itself when actually applied to the lips, caresses our natural colour and transforms our lips to something rather spectacular. They also create a statement, in which we base our clothing and other colour themes to therefore suggesting the dominance of the lipstick. They appear to be very bold and works well with any skin tone, which is convienient for all. This ensures that we have the confidence to wear this lipstick with style and pride. The actual colour of the lipstick also lasts quite a substantial period of time, however, if i were to announce ONE criticism and one only, i would share with you that as the lipstick wears off during the night/day, we are left with almost a circumference of dark colour with a diffusion of the natural colour of the lips coming from the middle meaning more has to be applied as well as a ‘smudged’ look. However, there seems to be a solution to this problem as this is the exact and precise reason as to why ‘lip liner’ was invented in order to ensure the colour doesnt bleed. Despite this, this lipstick is absolutely perfect and almost a miracle.
If you have used this product or any other variations, please get in contact with me as i am looking to try out different colours that i wouldnt normally wear. I am almost certain that they will be as perfect as this dominant lipstick.

GARNIER pure pore purifying toner review (1/5)
I have unfortunately decided to start my first every published blog review on a bad note, however, this doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a bad thing, it can simply be something that works to both, mine and your advantage. In one perspective, by starting with a low rated product (ratings can be seen in the title in brackets), my perspective of the product can be seen and others who share the same skin type as me can be made aware.
Description
The Pure cleansing range has been developed to combat imperfections.
Is Garnier Pure Pore purifying toner right for me? Yes, if you have combination or oily skin, which is prone to imperfections and visible pores.
How does it work?Combining purifying agents and zinc, its formula tightens pores, helps clear imperfections and leaves skin looking matte.
Garnier Skin Naturals products: – use, wherever possible, active natural ingredients, which have been carefully extracted to preserve their quality and purity. – have been formulated and dermatological tested to ensure their effectiveness and respect for your skin. – form part of daily 3 step skin routines designed to meet the needs of every skin type.
We carefully select the sources of our active natural ingredients, ensuring they are grown and gathered in an environmentally friendly way. Recently, I had bought this Toner to fit in with my 3 step beauty regime of cleanse, tone and then start moisturising.

As i hold the 200ml bottle in my hand, i question myself as to why i purchased this product in the first place. I’m incredibly aware of techniques that businesses use in order to get beauty fanatics like me to buy their products as they base their products on appearance, and after all, surely that’s what I’m most concerned with, in relation to beauty. As i opened the very secure lid, i am overwhelmed with what seems like a citrus scent that seems to be rather powerful as it lingers in the air. It also shouts alcohol from the bottle, and as a result i wouldn’t recommend this product to those who prefer the more calming non-scented beauty products. This smell alone really makes me wonder as to what i’m letting myself in for, and at that very moment, it didn’t look promising. I then decided to read the instructions which i admit, that i did not do at the time, and i know now that it was a huge rookie mistake! I found that on the back of the bottle that it stated that “This product is not recommended for dry and sensitive skin”. These are in-fact the characteristics that i have; dry and sensitive skin.
However, i still managed to try out the product and initially it went well.My face felt fresh and clean like the bottle of what i thought could have been magic, had stated. The next day i did have complications with my skin as i had woken up and my skin was drier than normal. I assumed that this was due to the fact that i hadn’t moisturised however as i gently brushed E45 cream on my face, i felt it suddenly burning, which was not normal with the moisturiser that i have been dedicated to. I assumed this was due to the toner and its Salicylic Acid & Purifying zinc ingredients, however i stupidly continued as the burning wore off for a while.
After around 6 days of using this toner, i had decided that enough was enough. I had noticed that my cheeks, nose, chin and forehead were dried out and felt almost like leather. They were also incredibly red and sore. My foundation that i tried to cover it with also burned on my skin, and made things worse therefore i concluded that i was going to discontinue using this product as it seemed to have caused me more problems than i expected. It stated on the bottle that it was a “purifying” toner and it helps to “fight imperfections”. It seems to have done quite the opposite as my face was DRY, RED, SORE and covered in BLEMISHES. It had clearly washed out all the natural oils in my face. I normally have good clear skin with no spots and no blemishes and its quite a heart-breaking experience to someone who cares a lot about their skin and appearance.
This however can be related back to the fact that i didnt check the back of the product itself, therefore i can reflect upon this experience as a trial and error experience, that unfortunately, resulted badly. This review can appear to be bias due to the fact it is reccommended for people with oily skin.
I am incredibly interested in any readers who have similiar skin types to myself, or have oily skin types AND have used this product. I would be very appreciative if you could drop me an email and tell me about your personal experience to gain a wider perspective. I will then hopefully create another post with your experiences (with permission)

L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess Black review (4/5)
Description
Want a mascara that gives lashings of volume without the clumps? Don’t just volumize, millionize your lashes. Try out VOLUME MILLION LASHES:
Millionizer Brush: a multitude of bristles separate lashes for a fanned-out effect. Excess Wiper: in-built wiper system removes excess mascara, wiping brush free of clumps. The pop when you pull the brush out proves the wiper is working.
I have found that with regards to the description of the mascara, with some experimentation of the product, i think it’s credible and factual, which could possibly be the reason behind my consistant loyalty to the brand; L’Oreal. The bristles of the brush have been portrayed to be to good to be true, however as we open the mascara we can most definately hear the wiper working to then enable us to own these separated fanned out lashes that scream glam.

£10.99 (buy one get one half price promotion) – Superdrug – From January 2013
I have contemplated that the price of the mascara is rather acceptable and impartial as for the price, i expect the product to work from the promising description displayed to us. I strongly believe that when it comes to cosmetics i believe you pay for what you get, therefore a wise decision is an expensive one in certain occasions. I think that £10.99 is rather fair as its not the cheapest and its certainly not the most expensive, yet L’Oreal is still currently and will continue to be an exceedingly respectable, classy, and affordable brand and in consideration adjacent to the price, it’s a bargain.
Review
I am a big fan of mascara and therefore i enjoy the process of experimentation with various types of mascara to gain a wider understanding about the type of brush, wand, and formula. I have arrived with the conclusion that each segment of the mascara as a whole, is significant if it’s to play a part in the success of the mascara. This specific mascara seems to have an advantage in the market as the design of the mascara itself, looks rather lavish and extravagant. It has a shine to it which highlights the gold and red colour theme. The mascara is rather chunky however, i love having chunky mascaras in my makeup bag. There is a strip down the middle displaying the name of the product, and as we open and close the mascara, it almost locks into place showing us how L’Oreal have deep affection when it comes to their products.
As we open the mascara, i indeed to enjoy the noise the brush makes as it exits the tube and then we hear the wiper working to reduce the excess mascara that aids the clumps on eyelashes, to be eliminated. The brush on the end of the wand is rather long therefore covers all the eyelashes in one go. I have also previously commented on the smell of L’Oreal cosmetics and how i relish the favourable smells they provide us with. The smell of the formula has a rather sweet, honey, like smell and is absolutely gorgeous.
I have been using the mascara for about 3 weeks now and i enjoy wearing it as it provides me with so much volume and length in just ONE application. My lashes arent long but not short, therefore this mascara supplies me with that extra volume and length. It is also long lasting and my eyelashes look almost like they did when i applied it in the morning, and this is a trait i look for when buying a mascara from the many variations we are rendered with. I enjoy the fact that if i’m going out i apply that bit extra, and even then the mascara doesnt clump so it develops an unatural appearance. I will definately be buying this mascara again, however another trait i quite like, is the fact it seems to be long lasting and doesnt clump up and dry like other mascaras, so we dont waste any of the formula.
Have you tried this product? If so, please get in contact with me to let me know about your experience, it would be appreciated. S x
